A pattern for the walls of a music club in central Sofia.

A challenge to the design was to not compromise in any way the acoustics in the club as most important for its function. The impact of the proposed pattern on the sound flow and perception was carefully examined by an acoustics specialist and it was confirmed that the pattern is not an obstacle to the acoustics.

The pattern is composed by two sizes of the same element. All elements are cut from plywood boards, handpainted grey and mounted on a black vinyl background.
